“ Rebecca waited on us. She was prompt and attentive. She served our drinks quickly and kept them filled! The food was delicious. I had the Bar B Que brisket salad ! Excellent ”
“ Jim ‘N Nick’s – Always a Hit! The drive-thru is consistently smooth and fast, and the customer service is top-notch—kind, clear, and friendly every time. The food? Delicious. Those little cheese biscuits are dangerously good — warm, buttery, and just the right amount of savory. My son loves the burgers, and I’m all about the barbecue chicken (leg thigh) with two veggies. He always adds fresh fruit with his meal, which I love seeing offered as an option. Whether we’re in a hurry or just craving something good, this is one of our go-to spots. Solid experience every time. ”
“ During my first visit to Alabama, one of our stops was a place that my husband highly recommended, as he is from Alabama and said it was very popular. I can confidently say it had the best brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw I have ever had in America. We travel a lot and enjoy BBQ, but this was by far the best for me. Oh, and the cheese biscuits were delicious, as well as the lemon icebox pie! ”
“ We typically order the spare rib feast for my family. The portions are by far the best deal for that price. The food is delicious and the cheese muffins are divine. I most definitely recommend! ”
“ I will definitely visit again when in town. I got the combo plate with chicken and turkey. Both very tasty! The beans and muffin were also impressive. The potato salad was ok. Not bad at all. It was just kind of dry and bland for me. Next time I’ll try the brisket as well. ”
“ Slightly off of the “beaten” path but worth finding and worth stopping. The BBQ is some of tho best found anywhere; very tender and not heavily seasoned or dried out. Inside atmosphere is very family friendly with an outdoor patio for an even more relaxing experience. Service is excellent and courteous. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. These restaurants are located across the South so don’t pass one by if you are in the area. ”
“ Great atmosphere, sat in a booth next to the bar and felt like a regular. Went in by myself and left after eating a great sliced brisket plate, a couple cold beers and making some new friends. The meal was incredible. They give you a big portion and heaping sides. The collards were great along with the slaw which was a perfect complement to my brisket. Been to several Jim and Nicks and this was one of the best! ”
“ Food was well seasoned and yummy. A tad to much ice in some of our drinks lol but they were nice enough to ommit some on fill up. Service was friendly and efficient and it's a great family place or even a place to bring a date. I will go back if in the area again. ”
